Securing a Kickstarter goal is a first for me. Two years ago, we set the goal too high, and we came up a few hundred dollars short, to everyone's disappointment.

But Bull Moose Book #1 was still published. (Hoorah!) It still went on to win five different awards and achieve best-selling status in two Amazon categories (Conspiracy Thriller and Assassination Thriller) and Top 10 in Political Thriller.

I've come to appreciate that in the stormy present, not every reader is clamoring to read true-to-life political thriller fiction. So many people have been turned off by the divisiveness of the past 15 (20? 40? 60?) years that they can't even conceive of a political thriller series that provides thrills and chills while also painting a picture of hope amidst the chaos.
